A lecturer at the University of Basra participates in the first investment conference on patents related to the oil sector.

Dr. Ahmed Youssef Hamoud, a lecturer at the Marine Sciences Center at the University of Basra, participated in the first conference on investing in patents related to the oil sector, held under the slogan "Patents... Investment to Support the Economy."

The event was sponsored by Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Planning Prof. Dr. Mohammed Ali Tamim and supervised by the President of the Central Organization for Standardization and Quality Control, Prof. Dr. Engineer Fayad Mohammed Abdul-Dulaimi. The conference was organized by the Directorate of Patents and Industrial Designs.

During the conference, Dr. Ahmed Youssef Hamoud was honored with an invention shield and a certificate of appreciation by the President of the Central Organization for Standardization and Quality Control for his active role in supporting creativity and invention and promoting cooperation between scientific research and the industrial sector in the service of sustainable national development.
