The course, taught by Dr. Amjad Nima Jassim, a lecturer at the Marine Science Center at the University of Basra, aimed to understand the mechanism by which nanoparticles affect bacterial cells, determine their toxicity, design effective strategies for therapeutic targeting, and develop innovative techniques.
The course presented a new and innovative method for estimating the concentration of nanoparticles inside bacterial cells and comparing it with existing methods, such as the use of electron microscopes or advanced imaging techniques to determine their presence inside cells.
