The Marine Sciences Center at Basra University organized a course on chemical and bacterial corrosion for the employees of the Najibiya Electricity Service

The course was presented by Dr. Asaad Muhammad Redha and his group, aimed at knowing the chemical and biological causes of corrosion in metals used in the electric power production facility and methods of practically examining them

The course included a practical part during which the special tests were explained to detect the essential types of corrosive bacteria.
